Just as well, shouldn’t be taking photos on the highway anyway.
Also note my cluster looks nasty here, but not as bad in real life. It does need a dusting but that “dripping” stuff is much less noticeable (I’ve tried cleaning it, but it seems to be etched into the plastic).

My S80, S60, XC, and 850 all had that drippy stuff. I always wondered what it was. I couldn’t even polish it out.

Ford-era Volvo? My gut is saying this is pretty low mileage for the gauge cluster, but that’s not an accurate stat :D

Yep, a 2006 S60 . I have no doubt there are a lot higher out there, but since I work remotely I don’t drive it that much. ~7500 miles in the two years I’ve owned it (which included a 2000 mile drive from Texas to Massachusetts).

LOL, same here. 128k on a 2001...and just 4,000 miles in the past 2 years. I still change the oil once a year, but the car never leaves the metro area B ecause Old VW.
It's amazing how much mileage a commute will eat up.

I drive roughly twice this pace per year, and in out family/trip car, we do at least 3.25x.

American drivers average around 13,500 miles per year (men significantly more than women), so your usage is definitely more normal than mine.

I wonder what percentage do the 25-30k we end up putting on Mrs. addiction’s car... She has a 60 mile round trip to work, and none of our family lives close, and we drive for spring break and regularly take other long road trips.

when my first bmw wagon turned 200k, it happened exactly as I pulled into my parking lot at work - very convenient for picture taking indeed
